DESCRIPTION

Adams Outdoor Advertising in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an Accounting Specialist who is self-motivated and detail oriented. This individual will perform various clerical and accounting duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide administrative support to the General Manager, Real Estate Manager, and Business Manager as needed
* Prepares various accounts receivable reports and analysis, giving information relating to customers' accounts to authorized personnel
* Maintains accounts payable files
* Accounts Receivable support, billing support
* Prepares weekly and monthly statistical reports as required by supervisor
* Maintains and processes purchase order receipts/invoices
* Verifies accounts are in compliance with company credit and collection policies
* Handles routine inquires
* May perform other functions as assigned by the designated manager
* Data entry

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent
One to two years general office/clerical experience
Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable
Knowledge of advertising/ marketing/social media functions and terms
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Excellent typing and computer skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
