On Friday, April 20th the city of Allentown, along with the help of Adams, unveiled the new Tip411 technology. The text-based initiative is meant to target younger citizens and encourage them to get involved in making their neighborhoods safer. The technology works in such a way to protect the identity of the texter by keeping all notifcations completely anonymous.
