Adams Outdoor Advertising acquired Barnes Advertising Corp. on July 31, 2026. Barnes had served the Ohio Valley from Zanesville since 1916. Those billboards, locations and customer relationships now operate as part of the Adams Outdoor Ohio Valley Regional Market, run out of the former Barnes headquarters at 1580 Fairview Road in Zanesville, Ohio.
1580 Fairview Road, Zanesville, Ohio. Adams Outdoor will operate fro the same building Barnes Advertising operated from, and it is now the headquarters for the Adams Outdoor Ohio Valley Regional Market, which covers eastern and central Ohio through western Pennsylvania.
The Barnes billboard operation is now part of Adams Outdoor Advertising. Former Barnes Advertising billboards are sold, serviced and maintained by Adams Outdoor from the Zanesville office. The Sign Shop at Barnes is a separate operation and continues to serve customers, handling sign fabrication and service work for local businesses.
